Cancer patients usually undergo chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Fatigue often struck once they start treatment. But according to Josie Gardiner, a special physical trainer cancer patients from the United States, physical exercise is also required for people with cancer.

Here are some types of sport which, according to Gardiner is suitable for people with cancer, as quoted by Fox News.

1. Aerobic
Cardio exercise would be one part of aerobic exercise, which allows one to burn calories as much as possible. Reducing calories is also one of prevention of the spread of cancer. In addition, cardio workout also makes a person physically stronger and tougher.

2. Weight training
Chemotherapy and radiation therapy results in bone fragility, especially for women. For that light weight training becomes very important. This can make the bones and muscles strong again.

3. Balance exercises
Therapy and treatment of cancer patients typically affect the body such as reduced bone mass. Therefore, the cancer patient needs to train his balance with the routine, for better health performance.

4. Body flex
Some cancer patients who have undergone surgery usually experience pain in the scar. For that they can not choose the sport that is too heavy. For those who are in this condition, Gardiner suggests that exercise can train your body flexibility like yoga.
